Her mother, Nilem, was born in Ilford, Essex, in the UK, and has been married three times. She married a medical doctor at the age of 24, and they had a daughter, Jasveen.
After divorcing her first husband, Nilem married Dr. Ajmel Sangha, and she took her stepdad’s surname.
Despite sharing a surname, Dr. Sangha clarified that he does not consider her his daughter.
Sangha’s mom’s third marriage was to Ashok Sahadevan, with whom she ran a group of KFC fast food franchises in California, Tasty Birds Management.
